Bilingual (Spanish) Dental Assistant

Foreign dentists are welcome

General Dental Office located in the Mission District is looking for a Dental Assistant

Requirements:

Must speak Spanish

Excellent communication skills

Computer Proficiency, we are a paperless office.

Experience is not required but is a plus; we are willing to teach, so recent graduates are welcome.

Punctual, dependable, hardworking, and initiative.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Make patients comfortable and prepare them for treatment.

Review charts / dental history with patients, document procedures, vital signs,

Prepare treatment rooms and tray setups for dental procedures.

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.

Order monthly supplies

Assist the Dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, which may include RCT,

crown/bridge, fillings, oral surgery, ortho procedures, implants, etc.

Digital X-rays, intra-oral pictures

Laboratory duties, taking/ pouring up impressions, sending/receiving lab cases.

Instruct patients in post-op and in general oral health care.

Actively participate in helping the office run efficiently and smoothly.

Other duties as assigned.
