BI/Tableau Senior Software Engineer II (Remote)

We are seeking a BI/Tableau Software Senior Engineer II to join a world-renowned management consulting firm that provides a full spectrum of consulting services primarily to large corporations but also to governments, international institutions, and non-profit organizations. This is a contract, remote capable role. You'll perform the transformation, filtering, and aggregation of raw data into concise, accurate, and focused data formats, and you will also have exposure and be expected to interact with business users. You will integrate cloud, data streaming, mobile apps, meta data automation, big data platform and artificial intelligence to deliver real time solutions to enhance customer acquisition, fraud detection, customer services, etc.

• Responsible for developing and delivering all technology solutions for our internal use
• Accelerate the migration of existing Alteryx workflows to Tableau Prep/AWS Glue/other ETL platforms.
• As a member of the team, you will be responsible for working in the support and migration of on prem Alteryx workflows to other cloud ETL platforms to help accelerate the Firm’s cloud-first transformation.
• Analyzing current Alteryx workflows and recreating them on other SaaS tools.

• 4 - 6 years of IT experience with about 2+ years in business intelligence and data engineering
• Experience building data & migrating pipelines in data wrangling tools like Alteryx, Informatica Power Center, and tasks like migration analysis to move data pipelines from legacy/on prem platforms to newer cloud platforms (Example: AWS Glue/Brew, Knime)
• Experience debugging and resolving performance issues in ETL workflows.
• Experience building & migrating reports and dashboards in one or more of the BI tools like Power BI, Tableau and tasks like migration analysis to move reports from legacy/on prem platforms to newer cloud platforms (Example: Tableau Online)
