Blueprint Drafter (Manufacturing)

Express Employment Professionals has an immediate position for a Blueprint drafter in the El Cajon area.

This individual will play a vital role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams by creating precise and detailed drawings, ensuring design integrity, and maintaining meticulous documentation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks, Microsoft Office Products, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks.

Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into accurate drawings.

Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.

Manage and organize drawing files, records, and related documentation in a systematic and accessible manner.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.

Support design reviews, quality checks, and production processes by providing accurate and timely drawings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time.

Qualifications

Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Prior experience in a drafting role, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or marine industries, is a plus.

Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
