Bookkeeper

This Bookkeeper position will be located in the Porterville, California area and will be a short-term contract / temporary opportunity.Major responsibilities

Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries

Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

Conduct and manage the general ledger

Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Requirements - Solid understanding of QuickBooks

Proficiency in account reconciliation

Expertise in general ledger

2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

Experience using accounting software

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
