Bookkeeper

Description We are working with a thriving wholesale distributor in Oceanside, and looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team and play a vital role in maintaining their financial and accounting operations! You will partner with the CEO and Operations Manager directly on company initiatives as they are looking to grow rapidly! One of the benefits in the role is hybrid work model, offering 2-3 days remote flexibility. Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and deposits.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Prepare and manage general ledger accounts.

Generate and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Close the books monthly and annually according to established procedures.

Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.

Assist with year-end accounting procedures and audits.

Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

May assist with payroll processing.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a wholesale distribution or similar environment.

Proven experience with QuickBooks Online.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (debit/credit).

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
