Bookkeeper

Description We have a client in need of organized and self-driven accounting professionals in order to succeed in this deadline-driven role with minimal supervision. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the City of Industry, California area and will be a permanent position. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable. Furthermore, the Bookkeeper will manage a general ledger reconciliation or light journal entries, full cycle A/P coding, cash applications, and perform data entry. Uphold a general ledger

Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Create cash flow projections, as needed

Maintain Accounts Payable

Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Oversee monthly accounting close

Familiar with Accounts Receivable

Work on special projects occasionally

Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation

Verify monthly accounting close Requirements

Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

Experience with ADP - Payroll

Well-founded grasp of Human Resources (HR) Administration

Basic Bookkeeping experience

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

Knowledge of bookkeeping

Proven knowledge of QuickBooks

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper in the manufacturing industry
