Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our financial operations and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing day-to-day accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all transactions are properly documented.

Preparing and issuing invoices to customers.

Processing payroll and employee expense reports.

Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

Generating financial reports and summaries for management.

Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
