Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Bel Air, California, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will be instrumental in handling financial records and transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing prompt response to inquiries. You will also be tasked with the crucial role of monitoring accounts and taking necessary action.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency Perform bookkeeping tasks including recording transactions, making payments, and verifying and reconciling invoices Execute data entry tasks promptly and accurately, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and store financial data Manage month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting Administer payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid on time and accurately Proficiently use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with a keen eye for discrepancies and inconsistencies. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner. Capability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR), tracking and recording all incoming funds. Expertise in conducting Bank Reconciliations, verifying the company's records with those of the bank. Solid understanding and experience in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Proficient in Data Entry, with the ability to input large volumes of data accurately and efficiently. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, using it for financial analysis and reporting. Experience in Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is recorded and reconciled for the month. Knowledge in processing Payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Proficiency in QuickBooks, using it for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
