Description Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in the underground infrastructure industry, situated in Fresno, California. In this vital role, you will focus on managing and maintaining customer invoices and records, processing payroll, and carrying out various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.Responsibilities: Handle the accurate and prompt processing of customer invoices and oversee collections. Manage the certified payroll processing as necessary. Regularly interact with customers to gather payment information through phone and email. Ensure employee time records are processed accurately and without delay. Oversee and manage the internal Purchase Order System. Support management in daily tasks, including call screening, expense report processing, and meeting scheduling. Collect, process, and arrange project documentation, including work orders and certificates of insurance. Provide administrative assistance to Project Managers, such as confirming account details and updating the project management system. Collaborate with the operations manager to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Assist in managing the company’s social media presence and online marketing initiatives. Participate in organizing marketing events and efforts to promote services to potential clients. Work with team members to ensure effective office operations. Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when necessary. Be adaptable to handle additional duties as assigned based on business requirements.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar capacity. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Demonstrable skills in bookkeeping and financial record keeping. Ability to efficiently perform data entry tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing and interpreting financial data.
