Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to be part of our team, based in Simi Valley, California. The job function revolves around managing both accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll duties, and ensuring accurate bank account management and reconciliation. The role also involves recording financial data into various financial systems.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the recording of day-to-day financial transactions. Execute the posting process to ensure accuracy of financial data. Handle the reconciliation and recording of payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts monthly. Monitor and track financial transactions and reports for any discrepancies. Engage in the creation and processing of accounts receivable and payable. Write and process checks in a timely and efficient manner. Balance the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting. Handle bi-weekly payroll processing by tracking and monitoring employee time sheets. Work collaboratively with external consultants when required. Manage commission and incentive referral payable processes. Advise leadership on compliance needs to ensure adherence to financial regulations. Print Checks and Process Independent Contractors to ensure accurate financial records.Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role Proficiency in account reconciliation processes Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing bank reconciliations Demonstrable skills in bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficiency in data entry tasks Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience in month-end close procedures Ability to manage payroll tasks effectively Proficiency in using QuickBooks software for accounting purposes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
