Bookkeeper (part-time)

Description We are in search of a PART-TIME Bookkeeper (15-20 hours per week) to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a contract-to-hire PART-TIME Bookkeeper role for a car dealership. This is 100% on-site. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, ensuring a dynamic and long-term commitment for the right candidate.Responsibilities: Record and manage daily financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger entries. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain precise records of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist with payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports, to provide insights into the company's financial health. Collaborate with management to deliver financial insights and reports as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
