BOOKKEEPER POSITION -PART TIME/IN-HOUSE in DTLA

Established Los Angeles wholesale company is in search for a PART -time IN-HOUSE bookkeeper. Monday - Friday. Closed weekends. We have been around for over 40 years. Free parking and half a block from all public transit. 1 days a week needed.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. A plus if in Textile or Garment Industry accounting . Multi-tasking and high understanding of quick books are a requirement upon applying.

Qualifications and duties include:

-quickbooks

-Accounts Payable: Preparing and Tracking expenses

-Prepare Monthly Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

-Prepare Financial Reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Analysis including preparation of closures to be handed to CPA

-Coordinating with our CPA: Tax filing purposes

Reports directly to the owner of the company. Good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse staff is a strong plus. Highly motivated; self-starter and has the ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and make reasonable administrative decisions based on company policies and practices.
