Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Execute in-depth data analysis that leads to findings/results that drive business proposal/decisions, can clearly communicate with business partners on findings and recommendations verbally and through presentation
Produce adhoc/repeatable reporting which provides regular insight and updates on profile distribution and performance trend, that points to potential abnormal trend or opportunities
Test and implement policy into decision engine and ensure flawless execution of intent
Contribute to end-to-end problem-solving and strategic support for new business initiatives. Partner with fellow analysts and stakeholders on subject matter knowledge, self-service solutions and processes to ensure they are repeatable, sustainable and scalable

Required Skills

Strong SQL skills
Python skills a big plus
Strong analytical skills and logical thinking to produce the simplest yet robust solution to complicated problems.
Ability to understand stakeholders' business requirements and translate to technical requirements.
Ability to own a project end-to-end, from understanding requirements, to formulating a solution, to convincing stakeholders that your solution works as required.
Working skills in Python and/or shell scripting a plus.
Basic understanding of statistics.
Prior lending business knowledge from other financial institutions or fintech area is a plus.
Prior experience with the following is a plus: Github or similar source control, Hadoop & Hive, AWS, VBA.
