Description: Business Data Scientist - Analytics Science

- The Client User and Product Analytics Team is responsible for providing analysis that helps innovate and scale customer support operations. - Analytics Science is a horizontal team that works on bringing in statistical rigor to solve high impact problems, be the face of the gUP Analytics team across client and helps create collaterals that other analysts can leverage. - This role brings in the statistical and engineering skills that help other analysts scale, enable sharing of analytical techniques across the broader team through brown bags and conferences and work on solving business problems through innovation.- One core job expected of this role is the ability to drive statistical analysis to produce a forecast for user support demand. - Your previous experience with forecasting, analytics, and interpreting data will be a foundational requirement.

Overall Responsibilities: (Share 2-3 sentences about the Position): - Lead statistical analyses to solve business problems at scale (e.g.: LTV of users) and help to production Alize the same by working with engineering team- Support the scaled operations team with rich statistical analysis of forecasting performance, metrics, and predictive modeling to determine impact to forecasting. - Identify skill gaps and create collaterals that help other analyst scale

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: - Managing/maintaining and improving upon SAS code base 50% of the time- Analyzing data/reporting 25% of the time- Data modeling 25% of the time

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory: - Highly quantitative background (Bachelors Degree or higher in Statistics/biostatistics, Operations Research, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related subject).

Must be familiar with a variety of statistical research techniques such as: - linear/non-linear. regression, ARIMA, Time-series Modeling, sample estimation & techniques, etc. - Data analysis using SQL. - Professional working experience of two or more years working with data modeling/SQL databases and forecasting domain. (must be professional experience, not academic). - Professional working experience of three or more years of experience with SAS Stat/SAS Macros. (must be professional experience, not academic).

Desired: - Research experience preferably in the consumer operations space in areas such as voice of customer, product analytics, clickstream analysis etc. - 3-4 Years of experience utilizing a variety of forecasting tools, software, with the ability to manually produce the same results. - Advanced root causes analysis, statistical, time-series and predictive modeling skill-set. - Excellent programming skills on Python or R, SAS and SQL. - Excellent collaboration skills working in a fast paced team dynamic environment.- Data munging using Python or R.As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA prides itself on creating an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or disability.
