Key Info:
  • We are looking for a BI Developer who is really strong in Power BI development, you will be maintaining, troubleshooting the current Power BI dashboards but will also be creating new dashboards and reports
  • Strong in creating SSIS packages for ETL processes
  • Strong with data, able to pull data from different ERP sources (company is using MS Dynamic GP)
  • Will be troubleshooting and supporting the current data warehouse, might be creating new ones in the future
  • Strong MS SQL development experience in creating queries, stored procedures, SQL jobs management, and just making sure everything is running within the system

  • This is a Direct Hire position, Hyrbid Onsite (3 days a week) in Brea, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) functions Perform complex queries using SQL and / or other tools (e.g., R, Python Pandas, PySpark)
  • Develop, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures and tools
  • Develop SSIS processes that extract data from CoolSys systems (both internal and external) to post into our data warehouse infrastructure
  • Performs routine application monitoring and maintenance of these processes
  • Works closely with the business teams to refine business requirements documents
  • Assist the business teams with quality assurance and testing of data processes
  • Assist with creation of ETL process documentation of interfaces used between critical systems
  • Help create and test SQL statements for data presentation and further automation
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Experience working with SQL Server,SQL scripts and SSIS packages, with the ability to detect and correct problems within SQL scripts
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience managing Power BI
  • Experience in data warehousing projects, data preparation, and data gateways
  • Experience with Business Intelligence analytical tools such as SSRS, SSAS, SSIS
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and SQL
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication skill is a must
  • Understanding of relational database model principles
  • Understanding of Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) data integration principles
  • Understanding of agile methodology as it relates to the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team
  • Supporting users/customers: identifying and addressing needs, building relationships, being flexible, communicating effectively
  • Experience with JIRA project management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
