  • 10 Years of diverse experience in Informatica on various domains like Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Banking.
  • Extensive experience as an Informatica Platform Administrator using Informatica 8x/9x/10x versions.
  • Vast hands on Architectural experience in Informatica Administration on products/tools such as PowerCenter, PowerExchange (Enterprise Data Integration), B2B Data Exchange & MFT, Data Transformation, Data Quality (IDQ), Data Integration Hub (DIH), Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Cloud, Application ILM, Proactive Monitoring, Data Validation object (DVO), Informatica Operational Insights & Big data Management BDM/BDE (IBM BigInsight, HortonWorks & Cloudera) & SnapLogic Administration.

  • Work with customers to gather user specifications
  • Building a fully functional server or business system which involves in planning on capacity requirement, SAN storage, File system, Database requirement and so on
  • Assist guidance and knowledge in project decision making process to make sure business systems are built as per standards and policies
  • Act as single point of contact for various business requirements and participate in several meetings from Client, Customer to Vendor for various business needs
  • Build, Design and plan the roadmap for upcoming and existing project. Eg, POC, upgrades etc
  • Execute various Proof of concept related to ETL processes
  • Perform Informatica & SnapLogic product suite Installation, upgradation, apply hotfixes, EBF, Server Build/setup on on-prem/AWS and Licensing
  • Experience in patching AWS servers quarterly in-order to be compliant per standards
  • Setup high availability system (HA) and Grid for load balancing
  • Testing, analyzing and rectifying problems to ensure those business applications perform as expected without any discrepancy or failure

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Informatica and Big data product suite which includes PowerCenter, PowerExchange (Enterprise Data Integration), B2B Data Exchange & MFT, Data Transformation, Data Quality (IDQ), Data Integration Hub (DIH), Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Cloud, Application ILM, Data Validation Objects (DVO), Informatica Proactive monitoring, Operational Insights and Big Data Management (BDM/BDE) [Hadoop (IBM BigInsights, HortonWorks & Cloudera)]
  • Provide expert guidance to developers in existing and up-coming new project setup
  • Handling System Owner activity, act as POC/SME to provide expert knowledge on both technical and process related matters
  • Creating Users, Groups, Roles, batch ID & managing Informatica security access to customers in Informatica product suite by assigning required privileges and permissions via LDAP integration.
  • UNIX & LINUX directory management by assigning required privileges and permissions - also done by ACL on specific project requirement.
  • Promote Informatica code/object migrations from one domain to the other
  • Creating connections to integrate various data sources such as Relational (Oracle, SQL, ODBC, DB2, Netezza), Loader (DB2 EE External loader, MLoad, TPump, External loader,FLoad), Application(JMS) FTP & SFTP, Message Queue for Informatica & cataloging entry for DB2, DB2 Mainframe, Hadoop, .odbc.ini & TNS for Unix and Linux servers.
  • Write shell scripts to support environment requirements.
  • Supporting infrastructure planned/unplanned maintenance & outages, ensuring services are up in all environments.
  • As an SME conduct DR (Disaster Recovery) exercise on defined window to check DR server/repository functions well.
  • Monitor CPU utilization, capacity planning, & handling space alert, node alert and core alert.
  • Troubleshoot & solve complex issue in all environments and provide RCA analysis and its solution (non-prod & Prod)
  • Create Informatica Service request to co-ordinate with Informatica Global Customer Support to understand & solve complex issues and to provide permanent fix/workaround.
  • Using SERVICE NOW tool, Create Service request such as Incident, change request or work orders to other infrastructure teams to implement certain requirement.
  • Create and execute ALM for validated and non-validated systems
  • Maintain SLA and deliver service to customer in a well-organized proficient manner
