Job Summary

The role requires supporting several initiatives related to building, extending, and maintaining a comprehensive recording platform. As a Business Analyst, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to assess business needs, analyze, and document business requirements. You will also support the facilitation of discovery sessions across multiple business divisions. Providing diplomatic and timely communication in an agile environment with iterative planning and delivery cycles will also be required of this role.

Essential Functionso Technical and implementation focus is on providing standard applications to resolve business needs/issues.o Participates in identifying business system requirements and related business/application solutions for a specific business need.o Gathers customer requirements for customized system solutions and provides alternative solutions.o Writes and maintains system documentationo Provides training and support directly to customers.o Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Usedo Possess solid analytical skills to acquire thorough understanding of business needs and translate them into process, project, and operational requirements.o Independently and proactively identify bottlenecks/issues and collaborate with the various teams to resolve them.o Plan and lead meetings/information gathering sessions and document stakeholder discussions.o Utilize Agile best practices to create requirements and stories that support consistent incremental delivery of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and phase product solutions.o Support Agile Sprint efforts to ensure epics, user stories, backlog items are curated in a collaborative and timely manner.o Participate in all Agile ceremonies and support the Product/Project Manager and Scrum Master in resolving roadblocks.o Create and manage project plans to effectively communicate progress towards the goals.o Conduct business requirement reviews and develop functional specifications.o Serve as a liaison between different cross-functional teams ensuring streamlined communication.o Track, analyze, and report on metrics used to determine project performance, productivity, staffing needs, or other measures deemed valuable to the team.o Review and perform root cause analysis of errors/issues and provide both short- and long-term solutions in consensus with the stakeholders.o Adept in project/life cycle management tools (like Jira) to create plans, diagrams, epics, user stories, backlog items etc.o A true team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.o Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals, interacting with clients, and making presentations.

Typical Educationo Generally requires BS Degree or equivalent work experience

Typical Range of Experienceo Proficient understanding of Agile/Scrum software development framework.o 4+ years of experience in business analysis/requirement gathering.o Experience using project/lifecycle management tools like Jira, Asana, DevOps etc.o Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight etc.o Familiarity with data querying and manipulation via SQL.o Strong analytical and process improvement skills.o Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Process especially Agile.o Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.o Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail.
