RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for a Business Systems Analyst (Applications) with business systems analysis experience to come aboard a year contract opportunity with one of our top Fortune 25 clients in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Responsibilities: Business Systems Analyst reads and can understand code written in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX shell, and Perl programming languages Navigates a UNIX command-line environment to find files or execute programs Connects to an Oracle database via front-end and back-end interfaces and navigates through various screens or database structures Designs new processes or modifies existing processes, including database structures and other software constructs, based on the appraised business and/or system requirements Creates data mapping documents and software to transform and load the data we receive from upstream source systems, or to extract and transform the data from our source system so it can be sent to downstream systems Creates documentation, including new documentation templates, to capture business requirements, process flows, and system specifications As a Business Systems Analyst, you will lead internal IT staff meetings to ensure solid understanding of the requirements and specifications of the processes being built Tracks progress of IT efforts and takes action to remove obstacles, in coordination with multiple participants and stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree Business systems analysis Relational databases (Oracle preferred) Technical documentation Software skills requirement: SQL, Excel

Preferred skills/experience: SQL, Oracle preferred Agile Project Management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
