Hello, we're a small industrial distributor in the Miramar area looking for help with purchasing.
Duties:
Creating and expediting PO's
Setting and maintaining stock levels on select items
Follow up after the purchase orders are created
Follow up with the customer when more information is needed
Work directly with suppliers to ensure quality, cost and delivery standards are met while following purchasing policies and procedures
Shop around with different suppliers and negotiate pricing to ensure we are purchasing at best prices and availability possible
Assorted administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Experience using ERP system a plus
Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to organize and prioritize the workload
We can train, this is a good opportunity for someone with some experience looking to expand their knowledge by learning a new system. The hours are flexible but this is a in office position.
