CAD Draftsman / Potential Project Manager or Project Architect– Epic Design Build Inc

Epic Design Build is an award-winning design–build firm with 23 years of experience in high-end residential remodeling, custom homes, and specialized commercial projects.

We’re looking for a talented CAD Draftsman who’s ready to grow into a Project Manager or Project Architect role within our creative, collaborative team.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated designer who wants to see their drawings come to life in real-world projects.

You’ll work closely with our design and construction teams, producing full sets of construction documents, coordinating with clients and city officials, and helping bring exceptional designs to completion.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, passionate about design, and eager to grow with our company.

Responsibilities

Produce complete and accurate construction documents.

Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models.

Assist with renderings and presentations (rendering experience is a plus)

Conduct existing conditions measurements on-site and document thoroughly.

Collaborate with our design and build teams on project development.

Communicate confidently with clients, vendors, and consultants.

Coordinate with cities, building departments, and design review boards.

Participate in design meetings and site visits.

Manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of drafting experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and SketchUp

Experience with rendering software is a plus.

Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing

Must be highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented.

Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve.

Professional positive communication skills

Must have reliable transportation for occasional site visits.
