Cafe Elk Grove is a bustling quick serve cafe located in the heart of the Civic Center at District 56 in Elk Grove. We take pride in offering a delightful selection of coffee, drinks, soups, salads, sandwiches, and snacks to our valued customers. With our commitment to quality and excellent service, we are currently seeking two dedicated individuals to join our team and fill the position of a Cafe Assistants.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate the register and ensure accurate and efficient transactions.

Prepare delicious sandwiches, ensuring adherence to our high-quality standards.

Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering their questions and taking their orders.

Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, including wiping tables, doing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.

Assist with opening/closing and setup/close procedures to ensure a smooth day.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service role or food service environment is preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.

Excellent multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced cafe environment.

Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Availability to work Monday to Friday. Two shifts available: 11AM - 5PM

Must be able to pass a Livescan Background Check.

Compensation:

Starting pay will be $18 per hour
