Chess Enthusiasts

We are looking for fun, kid-friendly, outgoing, chess players that enjoy sharing their passion for chess with kids at elementary schools in Rancho Palos Verdes and Redondo Beach.

Experience working with children is a plus but not required. The position is open to competitive and recreational chess players alike.

Weekday work availability between 1 pm - 4 pm. Must be at least 18 years old, reliable, professional, and have your own transportation.

This is a great opportunity for supplemental income. Starting pay is $40 - $60, depending on experience, per 1-hour class. Instructors can work 1-2 classes a day, Monday through Friday.

If you believe you have what it takes to get kids excited about chess, we'd love to hear from you! Be sure to include any experience working with children, public speaking, playing chess, and teaching (if applicable).
