Caregiver for RCFE: Live-in

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team at our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). As a caregiver, you will provide personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a warm and nurturing environment.

Schedule: Wednesday night - Sunday night

Start date: April 1st

Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily activities including dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.

- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.

- Administer medication as scheduled.

- Prepare meals and clean up after.

- Maintain a clean and safe living environment.

- Communicate with manager regarding resident and house needs and updates.

- Ensure residents’ dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.

- Ability to pass a background check and TB test.

- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Compassionate and patient attitude with a passion for working with seniors
