Caregiver in South Bay

Nightingale Senior Care is seeking more caregiver in the South Bay area to care for our clients. Join our team of dedicated Caregivers and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.

Responsibilities:

- Offer companionship and emotional support

- Patience and empathy

- Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, Personal Care Assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)

- Monitor physical and mental well-being of our clients

- Mobility assistance and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients

Requirements:

- HCA registration (Home Care Aid)

- Live Scan (Criminal Background Check)

- TB Test (Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY

- Minimum 2 years of experience (Caring for Family Members Counts!)

- Legally permitted to work in the US

- Reliable, dependable, compassionate and friendly

- Licensed driver with reliable transportation preferred

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred

- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need

- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively

- Capability to handle responsibilities efficiently and effectively

- Knowledge of memory impairment

Skills: Caring personality, Time management, Attentive personality, Personal hygiene assistance, Care planning, Decision making, Relationship building and Clear communication. (Previous experience in senior care or a related field preferred)
