Carpenter Apprentice

We are seeking a journeyman carpenter with at least 5 years of experience to join our team working on residential construction projects in Del Mar and the surrounding coastal communities.

- Lead and assist in all phases of carpentry work including framing, sheathing, roofing, stairs, trim installation and finishing work.

- Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure work is done according to specifications.

- Install windows, doors, cabinets and other fixtures.

- Perform finish carpentry duties like flooring, trim installation, cabinetry etc.

- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a carpenter apprentice

- Thorough knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, methods and best practices

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans

- Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail

- Valid driver's license

- Reliable transportation for commute to job sites
