Carpenter/Solar Technician

Hooven & Reese Company is currently seeking a carpenter/solar technician to join our team. Must have a clean driving record. The perfect candidate will be able to perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, carry solar panels from place to place (including up and down from roofs). Install panels and mounting hardware. Perform some light electrical tasks.

Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs on a repetitive basis, attention to detail, reliable, problem solver and team player. Ability to work in all types of weather and plan accordingly. Ability to work in small spaces such as attic work in homes.

Basic Skills includes:Pre Post Installation Setup, Post Installation, Post Remediation, Pre Racking/Rails System Component Staging, Racking/Rails System Assembly and Solar Panel Installation. All phases require the use of multiple general and power tools
