Position Title : Cellular Test Engineer

Location : Santa Clara, CA

Duration : Long-termExperience:3G, 4G/LTE, 5G, lab Testing, Modem Testing, UE Testing, Protocol testing, Mobile/Data card testing, Network Simulators (Anritsu/CMW500), etc.Job Description:Work experience on cellular wireless areas in one or many of the following areas: Modem systems testFeature integrationCarrier certificationModem feature test and field trials
  • Play the role of team leader by doing following activities:
Consolidate test reports sent by engineers from various locations Prioritize various issues/bugs raised by testing team Technically guide testing so that team can execute correct scenario in the field Give regular trainings to the testing team to keep them updated about latest LTE features
  • Testing experience with Intel model chipset for various latest LTE features
  • Knowledge of scripting language such as Perl, Python and Groovy to automate the test cases
  • Design test cases for latest LTE features
  • Do testing to measure various kinds of modem key performance indicators
  • Reproduce various issues reported from the customer location
  • Have regular meetings to co-ordinate with his team members and discuss the issues faced at multiple locations
  • Experience in 2G/3G/LTE/5G protocol testing and Lab Testing
  • Experience with Infra vendors and network operator
  • Understanding and familiarity with 3G/4G specifications and standardization aspects
  • Strong understanding and hands-on exposure to 3G/4G physical layer & protocol areas.
  • Expertise in Protocol log analysis for mobile side
  • Testing Experience on network simulators such as Anritsu
  • Knowledge of air interface protocols of 3GPP Specification
  • Knowledge of IP media subsystem architecture while working on VOLTE/IMS/SIP flows
  • Hands on experience with STT and UTP testing tool
