Cellular Testing, Field Design Engineer (5G/4G/LTE) The Field Design Team at a global consumer device company is looking for Field Design Engineers to test cellular technologies in the field, perform log analysis and debug issues.

• You will be driven to local and non-local to test cellular technologies of nex-gen smartphones (4 days in the field, 1 day in the lab per work week)
• You will travel to testing locations up to 1 hour away, up to 4 days out of the week. Transportation/Driver/Security will be provided.
• You will hike in the field to test cellular technologies
• You will communicate if there is a technical issue and have strong fundamental skills and judgement skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented, analytical, able to work independently.
• Travel for work up to 50% (domestic travel only)

• Candidates should have 1-3years’ experience with end-to-end testing of cellular technologies (5G/4G/LTE) that includes test plan preparation, field testing, log analysis & debugging issues
• Must be able to hikes outdoors and perform field testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented, and analytical
• Travel for work up to 50% (domestic travel only)
• Able to travel lol and non-locally up two weeks a month

• Scripting skills in Python
