Looking to hire a chef for the 2026 Fishing season aboard a 70' sport-fishing yacht. This is seasonal work (mainly MAY-OCT) with part time work through the winter for the right candidate.

Professional culinary training a plus but not a necessity. Experience in elevated dining and nicely plated meals a MUST.

Prior experience cooking on the ocean a plus but not a necessity.

Reliable transportation and the ability to provision/ shop for all trips and meals REQUIRED

Clean background and great customer service skills REQUIRED.

Resume with references and photos of your food REQUIRED.

The ability to come up with creative and cost effective meals REQUIRED.

Flexibility with schedule and the ability to be gone from home for weeks at a time REQUIRED.

MUST be able to take direction and constructive criticism AND work well in a team environment.

MUST be able to roll sushi.

The Chef position on this boat puts you face to face in the kitchen with up to 12 customers all day long; 3 meals and dessert + a snack per day. You will be cooking for a maximum of 17 people. (5 crew + 12 passengers). Our trips range from 6 hours to 5 days long with back to back trips all summer. During peak season (JULY-SEPT) you can expect to be on the water 25days+ per month. The ideal candidate for this job is someone who loves to cook, is great with people, wants to work very hard long hours and make great money.

Compensation: Daily rate DOE ($250-$300 per day) + equal share of tips. Typical income for the summer months is $9-12K per month.
