Classical Pilates Instructor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Classical Pilates Instructor with a dance background to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring both expertise in the original Pilates method and a passion for helping clients achieve strength, alignment, and wellness. Through teaching private sessions and group classes, the Instructor will play a vital role in supporting our clients’ growth while upholding the high standards of our studio.

Responsibilities:

Instruction & Client Support:

Teach private and semi-private sessions following the principles of Classical Pilates.

Provide clear, precise, and encouraging instruction tailored to each client’s needs.

Assess client progress and adjust exercises accordingly to ensure safe and effective training.

Foster a supportive, professional, and motivating atmosphere for all clients.

Studio Contribution:

Arrive prepared and on time for all sessions, maintaining a professional presence.

Assist in keeping equipment clean, organized, and set up for client use.

Support the studio in upholding its culture of respect, excellence, empathy, integrity, and care.

Collaboration & Growth:

Communicate effectively with clients and staff regarding scheduling, progress, and needs.

Participate in team meetings and trainings (if applicable) to further develop teaching skills.

Engage in continued education to deepen knowledge of the Classical Pilates method.

Qualifications:

Comprehensive or advanced certification in Classical Pilates (mat and ALL apparatus).

Strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, and safe movement practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients of all levels.

Professional, punctual, and reliable with strong organizational habits.

Enthusiastic, positive, and committed to maintaining the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ original method.
