They have the primary responsibilities of executing on existing reporting protocols and the communication and escalation of synthesized results. This includes summarizing findings, proposing next steps, and following through on possible issue resolutions as it relates to client and business performance. Successful fulfillment of this role requires extensive interaction with an array of teams, including Implementation, Customer Success, Sales, Operations, Data Services, Finance and Quality Control departments.Client Data Analysts are expected to excel at collaborative and proactive communication. They know how to recognize patterns in data and can escalate questionable findings appropriately for further investigation. They anticipate needs and deadlines and can communicate effectively across departments regarding competing priorities. They are able to propose approaches to manage and redistribute assignments. They identify new areas of interest in our client behavior and data and would enjoy working collaboratively to develop the necessary tools and processes to investigate those. They often communicate with internal stakeholders and partners to better understand the business’s workflows and reporting needs. They synthesize how those needs relate to current reporting capabilities, and relay and prioritize technical requests back to their teammates, as needed.Responsibilities:Execute on existing reporting protocols to identify gaps and data anomalies.

Synthesize report and analysis results to create succinct summaries for stakeholders.

Escalate areas of concern and unexpected patterns in data to team members.

Serve as a consultative partner to internal and external clients.

Suggest improvements for existing approaches via appropriate channels based on identified opportunities for increased efficiency.

Leverage large, complex data sets to identify, quantify and influence stakeholder behavior.

Define,collect, develop and monitor key business metrics.

Review automated dashboards and data visualizations to track key metrics and trends.

Test report functionality to be used by internal and external customers.

Skills:Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and SQL

Experience with data analysis and additional relevant tools to perform those analyses (such as R, Python, and SAS)

Experience translating findings into data visualizations (using BI software such as Tableau, Power BI, and Sisense a plus) for ease of consumption by relevant audience.

Strong academic record, ideally in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitative field

Intense intellectual curiosity – strong desire to always be learning

Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving difficult problems

Passionate about data and analytics

Education:Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)

Experience:

3+ years in a quantitative business role

Experience with temporary and professional staffing agencies and/or in the tax incentive industry a plus
