TEAM

The mission of the Woven IT Engineering team is to increase productivity and accelerate the delivery of software and services for both Woven Planet and the larger Toyota organization as a whole. We do this by building and integrating best-of-breed cutting-edge technologies to help engineering teams go faster, safer. By providing modern, agile and transparent services to our customers, we aim to realize Woven Planet's vision of "Mobility to Love, Safety to Live".

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong backend in the infrastructure and DevOps area to ensure that our services and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest standards. The successful candidate needs to be knowledgeable & passionate about secure technology infrastructure, automation, and continuous improvement based on data/metrics, and software development, with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities:
    • Architect public cloud environments for multiple engineering teams using Infrastructure-as-Code tools with industry best practices
    • Improve current code base and deployment pipeline
    • Work with engineering teams to implement Continuous Integration pipelines
    • Support the engineering team with infrastructure issues and needs in areas of data storage, and compute performance
    • Uses the right tools to monitor the infrastructure's health and cost and proposes solutions to improve both
    • Maintain and upgrade infrastructure with zero downtime
    • Perform performance tuning and optimization across the CI stack
    • Mentor and support junior members as required

Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
    • Experience writing code in Python, Go, Java, Javascript, Shell or a similar language
    • Experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design
    • Experience architecting, deploying, operating solutions built on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
    • Ability to analyze requirements, design and implement solutions to automate routine tasks
    • Strong interest in DevOps (and/or SRE) topics like automation, application/platform management, performance assessment and monitoring, and more.
Preferred Qualifications:
    • Have hands-on experience with Cloud Native tools/technologies, Kubernetes, container, Infrastructure as Code
    • Have hands-on experience with troubleshooting and incident management
    • Have previous experience in an SRE or Production Engineering role
    • AWS Advanced Networking/ AWS Security/ DevOps / Solution Architect Professional Certifications
