Looking for a 6 to 12 month project in USA West Coast. Remote ok.Expert level position. Independent Self Starter.Independent This position is 100% remote and will work closely with our teams in the US and India.

Google Cloud Platform Engineer / Administrator skills needed:
  • Google Cloud Platform Specialist – Data Engineering (Google Cloud Platform = Airflow, DLP, PII, IDM Access Flows, Big Query, UDF, kubectl, sha256, composer, cloud Functions, Autoscaling, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, Data Tags, Data Mask, YAML)
  • Have a Google Cloud Certification or willing to achieve one in the first 3 months of employment
  • Build POC and use Google Cloud Platform standards for security and infra
  • Prior expertise with development of IaC modules for Google Cloud Platform leveraging Google Cloud Foundation Toolkit (CFT), Data protection toolkit(DPT) or related registry modules
  • Good background of scripting utilizing Bash, Zsh, Python and Go for automating infrastructure on-premise/ cloud
  • Experience in leveraging Sentinel Policy for Terraform and delivery of policy of code solutions
  • Experience in build out of Kubernetes infrastructure - containers, GKE, Envoy, Istio, private clusters
  • Strong on Google Cloud platform core skills - Compute, storage, network, IAM, VPC, firewall rules, Load Balancer, Cloud Deployment Manager, Logging and Monitoring
  • Experience in building solutions around Vault - HA setup, configuration, secrets retrieval and break glass use cases
  • Experience in setup of observability, tracing and metrics collection solutions - Kiali, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Operations Suite or Chronosphere/M3
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management, user and system authentication methods and certificates, tokens and certificate management
  • Self-starter with an in-depth hands-on work experience with multiple large-scale implementations of Google Cloud Platform.
  • Linux and Windows administration experience
  • Experience with networking, VMs, firewalls, and virtualized envs; security
  • Expert in DevOps

  • Terraform
  • Previous Experience with the Google Cloud Platform
  • Complex CI/CD implementations
  • Python, shell scripts or Powershell
  • Certifications in a public cloud provider (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
