Job Title: CNC Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various CNC machine tools, including horizontal and vertical mills. This role requires some setup experience and the ability to keep the CNC machine tools running efficiently while checking the parts being run. The operator will handle multiple machine tools at once, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.Responsibilities

Operate various CNC machine tools, including horizontal and vertical mills.

Keep CNC machine tools running and check the parts being produced.

Adjust offsets and locations, as well as change inserts and cutting tools as necessary.

Gain full knowledge and understanding of speeds, feeds, and surface call outs of machined parts.

Adhere to and follow company safety procedures and operate machinery safely.

Perform cleanup in and around the machines and maintain proper fluid levels.

Essential Skills

1 year of machining experience or trade school training.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Proficiency in using common machine shop measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Knowledge of machine shop practices.

Ability to communicate machining errors and corrective actions clearly and timely.

Capability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with blueprint reading.

Familiarity with measuring tools, horizontal mills, CNC, mills, and lathes.
