Job Title: CNC Set Up MachinistJob DescriptionAs a CNC Set Up Machinist, you will perform all work in a safe manner while using personal protective equipment and adhering to standard work and drawing specifications. You will be responsible for machine set-ups, making minor machine/program adjustments, and performing quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, and thread gages. You will update production status boards, execute and communicate hourly performance results, and assist in training new hires. Your role involves frequent lifting/moving up to 50lbs, and requires standing, walking, bending, and reaching. You will receive daily direction and support from the Supervisor and perform cross-training.Hard Skills

Experience with Haas Fanuc Machines

Ability to revise or create CNC Program from 3D model or drawings using MasterCam and Fusion 360

Proficient in using calibrated precision measuring instruments

Capable of performing all machine set-ups without assistance

Experience in equipment operation, maintenance, and cutters/tooling procurement

Skills in modifying CNC programs based on quality data

Soft Skills

Ability to work safely and efficiently

Strong communication skills

Capability to train and guide new hires

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
