Cobol Developer

Job Title: Cobol Developer Location: Irvine, CA Full time/Permanent 5+ years of software development experience. Investment banking domain knowledge is a plus. Demonstrated experience with Mainframe/MF - COBOL Advanced SQL experience (exposure to Stored Procedures etc.) Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods Experience with MQ, Java, and Python is a plus. Experience with web services, REST APIs and Open API development is a plus. Functions as an active member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices tools and common components Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains Provides level 2 support along with Production Support Team. Ability to effectively communicate across third parties, technical, and business product managers on solution design Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies Collaborates with other engineers, senior engineers, architects, and others through ongoing sprints test
