Coco URGENTLY Needs a Foster Home!

Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is a Non-Profit based in Los Angeles dedicated to saving dogs from shelters and giving them a new chance at life! We urgently need a loving foster for our sweet dog, Coco.

About Coco:

Coco is a 6-year-old Rottweiler who is incredibly friendly and loves people. She has a condition called masticatory muscle myositis (MMM), an immune system disorder where her body mistakenly attacks her own muscle tissue. Because of this, Coco requires a homecooked diet five times a day, which we will fully reimburse, and she takes one pill daily to maintain her strength. She is not good with other dogs but is wonderful with people.

What We Need from You:

- Experience with Dogs: We need fosters who are comfortable with large breeds. Coco is a Rottweiler and requires a foster who understands the needs of larger dogs.

- No Other Pets: Coco needs to be the only pet in the home due to her condition and behavior.

- Commitment: Ideally, we need you to foster Coco until she is adopted, or at least for 2-4 weeks. However, if you can only commit to a few days for emergencies, please let us know!

- Age Requirement: You must be 21+ or have parent approval if under 21.

- Immediate Availability: We need a foster home for Coco urgently, starting by 6/13. Even if you can only foster for 2-4 weeks, that will be a huge help for us.

- Home Environment: No children under 10, no cats, and no other dogs in your home.

- Transport: While you will not need to travel to our West Hollywood adoption events due to Coco's special diet, reliable transportation is still important for vet visits and other necessary appointments.

- Approval: Ensure all landlords/managers/spouses are in agreement with fostering Coco.
