Required Skills: 4+ years of Cognos report development experience 7+ years of development experience Strong working knowledge of Cognos version 11.2 (Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Analysis Studio, Active Reports) Hands-on, good understanding of various database concepts and implementations, including relational database, data warehouse, and data mart Ability to write SQL queries Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a timely manner Effective communication skills (verbal and written) for both highly technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work under tight deadline and in a fast-paced environment Self-starter, problem-solver, and team player Strong attention to detailJob Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with end users to gather requirements and document requirementsDesign report solution and create reporting concept and prototype to get users feedbackDevelop Cognos reports and dashboardsTest and troubleshoot Cognos reportsAnalyze data discrepancies in Cognos reportsHelp and support end users to develop their own reportsDemonstrate Cognos capabilities to prospective clients and provide end user training, including creating training manuals, conduct training, and provide user supportOther duties as assignedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:IBM Cognos certificationAbility to do Cognos administrationAbility to build and publish relational and dimensional models using Framework ManagerExperience with Power BIExperience working on an Agile SCRUM teamThanks & Regards,Manoj - Technical RecruiterThought wave Software and Solutions314 N.
