Collections

Description We currently have ongoing Collections positions available for various companies local to the San Fernando Valley area. As a Collections Specialist, you will perform customer and/or commercial collections and resolve customer account issues. In this Collections Specialist position, you will report to the Collections Manager. For more information and how to apply, please call 818-884-3888. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Contacting customers to negotiate payment plans and arrangements.

Monitoring and managing overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution.

Updating and maintaining accurate account records and customer information.

Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies or disputes.

Collaborating with other departments to address customer concerns and issues.

Providing excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding debt collection.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
