Collections / AR Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Santa Fe Springs, California. The role entails a variety of responsibilities related to managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The industry is telecommunications and the employment type is permanent. Responsibilities: Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain customer credit records and ensure they are updated Resolve any inquiries related to customer credit Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Handle collection calls and maintain records of the conversations Invoicing tasks, estimated at approximately 50 per day Assist with various employee engagement activities and events Enter checks into the system and manage collections Utilize accounting software systems such as Quickbooks and Peachtree to perform tasks Leverage skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for processing and tracking Collaborate with the accounting manager and other team members for efficient workflowTo be confidentailly considered for the role, please apply or send your resume to Lawren dot Bocock at robert halfRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Accurint Experience in using Great Plains (GPAC) Knowledge of IBM AS/400 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Ability to perform Billing Functions Understanding of Collection Processes and Collector role Knowledge of Credit systems and processes Strong Customer Service skills Proficiency in MS Great Plains Accounting Experience in Collections and Commercial Collections Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
