Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections/Billing Specialist in Riverside, California. This role is integral to our team, focusing on the construction industry, and will involve heavy collections work, some billing, and a hybrid work model with the flexibility to work from home for two days a week. As a Construction Billing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the billing process for our construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. You will use Accumatica & Excel software for managing billing and financial data.Key responsibilities:

Manage all billing related activities of construction projects including invoice preparation, data entry, and reconciliation of accounts.

Ensure that all liens and releases are properly recorded and filed according to relevant laws and regulations.

Record and monitor all transactions on Accumatica software and maintain comprehensive records in Excel.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure the accuracy of billings and resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the construction industry, staying current with industry standards and regulations related to billing.

Regularly report to management with timely and accurate financial information.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.

Proficiency in using Accumatica & Excel Software.

Knowledge of construction liens and release processes.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Work Structure: This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from home two days per week.
