Works directly with Collections Supervisor in regards to past due loan payments.
Assist Collections with Supervisor in collection of loans. Ensuring the collections actions are in compliance with specific program regulations.
Follows up with clients regarding past due payments,
Assist in resolving past due loans, including assisting clients with scheduling or processing past due payments.
Assist with establishing borrowers’ intentions regarding payoff at loan maturity or possible loan renewal/extension.
Communicate effectively with past due clients to determine eligibility and initiate workout plans
Communicate effectively with past due clients to negotiate settlement plans and draft agreements
Assist in preparation of Default Notices and Demand Letters .
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma.
Customer service experience required.
Previous collection experience in a consumer lending or SUBPRIME industry required.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience negotiating, skip tracing, and asset review preferred.
Detailed oriented and strong organization skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must work effectively with other staff members and work well in a busy environment.
Demonstrate Assertiveness and confidence.
