POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position of Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects at various stages, overseeing projects from pre-construction to closeouts. You will participate in the bid process, analyze blueprints/specifications, review proposals/project requirements, coordinate materials procurement, ensure compliance with company policies, provide status updates, and maintain documentation records.
DUTIES:
· Manage the client’s expectations.
· Provide project leadership and supervisory skills.
· Project document control ensuring project documents are complete, current, and managed appropriately.
· Manage/prepare cost proposals and change orders.
· Development of project budgets and buy-out/contracting of the work.
· Project accounting functions including preparing Owner billings and reviewing/approving Subcontractor progress payments.
· Responsible for budgets and cost control throughout the life of the project
· Manage the submittal, RFI, and project documentation requirements.
· Develop and manage CPM schedule.
· Manage project subcontractors including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring budget and cost, managing billings
· Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel .
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5 years experience in General constriction & Commercial tenant improvements
· 3 years experience in construction Project management
· 2 years of Public Works experience
· Strong understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations
· Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, G suite, Bluebeam, Revit, Contractor Foreman
· Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
· Familiar with various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerances.
· Very strong communication skills are a must.
· Bachelor's degree plus
