Computer company based in Poway is a U.S.-based manufacturer of rugged computer systems serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. We build high-reliability computer assemblies and sub-systems for mission-critical applications. Our team takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship — and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Computer Integrator to join our growing operation.

Position Overview

This position involves hands-on system integration, not design or software engineering. The Computer Integrator will assemble, configure, and test computer systems and subassemblies to meet engineering and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience working with hardware, wiring, and documentation in a manufacturing or integration environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and integrate computer systems, sub-assemblies, and components following build documentation, wiring diagrams, and procedures

Install and route cables, harnesses, and connectors cleanly and accurately

Perform BIOS configuration, component installation (CPU, memory, storage, cards, fans, etc.), and verification

Load and verify system software images as directed

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and rework as necessary

Follow quality assurance and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures

Accurately document build information, serial numbers, and test results

Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstations, benches, and tools

Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve integration or documentation issues

Identify and report discrepancies or potential process improvements

Requirements

Legal U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required (due to controlled technology and export compliance)

Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience assembling and integrating computer systems or electronics

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Experience with system cabling, connectors, PC hardware, and rack-mounted systems

Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions

Familiarity with hand tools, torque tools, and ESD handling practices

Basic understanding of BIOS setup, imaging, and component testing

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in military, aerospace, or industrial computer integration

Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards

Familiarity with labeling, serialization, and build documentation procedures

Soldering or cable assembly experience a plus
