Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Concierge in the bustling hospitality industry of San Francisco, California. As a Concierge, you will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Provide clerical support to the hospitality team Act as the first point of contact for guests, answering inquiries and providing information Coordinate guest services such as transportation, dining reservations, and local attractions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local events and venues to provide accurate information to guests Utilize 10-key accounting skills to manage financial transactions Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing issues or concerns Monitor and maintain an organized front desk area Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure all guest needs are met Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data Requirements Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in 10-Key Accounting is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with grace. Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and other points of interest. Must be customer service oriented with a positive, friendly attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for tasks such as email, managing reservations, and data entry. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds. Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
