- Configure new/existing products on current Company applications.
- Authoring and debugging business rules using a rules engine (BRMS).
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets which include advanced formulas, data references and VBA code.
- Support level II escalations from Helpdesk requiring deeper forensics and troubleshooting of Company applications and products.
- Report statprogress to project team members as needed.
- Working with business users to understand business requirements and translate them to systems solutions.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Experience with application configuration, documentation, and support.
- ZenDesk/Jira ticket systems: creating, updating, and closing tickets.

- Knowledge or work experience of SQL and JSON is a plus.
- Experience on enterprise software design/support for insurance or financial services is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise Rules Engines like InRule, Drools, Red Hat Decision Manager (fka JBoss).
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in an Agile/Scrum preferred.
