Construction Foreman

Hiring for an underground construction foreman. Solid background and trade experience in plumbing, septic systems, or underground construction. Must have supervisory/foreman experience.

Responsibilities

Delegate tasks according to priorities and plans

Allocate general and daily responsibilities and monitor performance of crew

Supervise and train employees

Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

Supervise use of and operate machinery and equipment

Resolve problems when they arise

Report on job progress to company owner

Requirements

Proven experience leading and directing crews

Working knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to operate various heavy construction equipment (excavator, skid steer, loader, backhoe)

Journey level experience in an applicable skilled trade (plumbing, septic systems, underground construction)

Problem-solving abilities

Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and aptitude in math

Must have valid CDL with clean driving record. Class A license a plus.

40-50 hrs week

Must be willing to temporarily work out of town. Housing and per diem paid by employer for out of area work.
