Construction Manager Internship

We’re a small, woman-owned construction company led by a woman general contractor, and we’re looking for a Construction Manager Intern who’s ready to take on real responsibility, run projects, and grow with us. This is a hands-on role with leadership potential, perfect for someone eager to step into a management role in construction.

What You’ll Do:

Manage job sites and ensure projects stay on schedule

Supervise subcontractors and coordinate trades

Read blueprints, order materials, and perform take-offs

Assist with estimating by defining the scope of work and preparing bids

Ensure projects stay on time and on budget

Work closely with the project manager, sales team, and general contractor

Communicate with clients to manage expectations and provide updates

Maintain a clean and organized job site

Track change orders and document project details

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices

Take high-quality photos and videos on the job site for marketing and social media content

What We’re Looking For:

️ Speaks Spanish (preferred but not required)

️ Experience in a skilled trade (framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, etc.)

️ Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and timelines

️ Ability to lead teams and solve problems on-site

️ Excellent organizational and communication skills

️ Tech-savvy enough to use project management software

️ Comfortable taking job site photos/videos for social media

️ Eager to learn, grow, and take ownership of projects
