Job description
General Contractor in of detailed front office personnel to oversee front desk at the corporate office in Yorba Linda. You are the first contact with anyone that walks in our doors or calls on the phone. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30pm that will require the following skills:
1.) Problem-solving and critical thinking
2.) Be able to research things we need for jobsites when asked.
3.) Willing to be trained on specific duties
4.) Good note taker when being trained and must refer to notes
5.) Good attendance
6.) Organized, detail oriented.
7.) Exceptional phone/email etiquette
8.) Able to move 50+ pounds of equipment if necessary
9.) Computer/Tech savvy (Microsoft Office, Zoom, building connected)
We are looking for the right person to start right away. This is just not a front office person you will be doing multiple task as needed. Not your average filing and answering phones position but is also a basic beginning position.
Responsibilities:
1.) Team Player while working independently
2.) Self Starter
3.) Filing
4.) Answer Phones and screening phone calls before directing calls to the correct person, or taking messages
5.) Office Housekeeping
6.) Purchasing office supplies, and project supplies and equipment
7.) Print plans from Plotter Printer
8.) Upload plans on online portal and removing some information before uploading plans
9.) Organize bid proposals from subcontractors and download them into the share files along with printing for file
10.) Keep organized records of deliveries and overall inventory etc.
11.) Maintain office equipment
12.) Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
13.) Represent the company in a positive light
Position is 8:00am-4:30pm in-person at Yorba Linda office.
Job Type: Full-time (40hrs per week)
Pay: $16.50 - $23.00 per hour DOE
