Construction Safety Technician

Well-established Southern California-based commercial general contractor looking for a qualified Construction Safety Technician to support our Orange County office. This is a short-term assignment with the possibility of a longer duration after 3 months.

Candidate must possess a minimum of five [5] years in the commercial construction industry and have related experience with the following project types, including general construction, tenant improvements, light civil, and high traffic entertainment venues.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and superior organizational skills who understands the unique risks, compliance demands, and operational realities of the construction industry.

Minimum requirements and certifications include:

CHST, SSHO/EM385

OSHA 30

CPR

Ability to perform OSHA-compliant Safety Assessments

Ability to develop and write JSA’s, JHA’s and General Safety Plans

Available for 1st/2nd/3rd level shifts (from time to time)

Also highly desired, but not mandatory:

4-year degree in a construction and/or safety related fields

Experience as a commercial construction superintendent
